If you provide massage therapy services in Spring Hill, you need one or both of the following types of massage licenses per Spring Hill Municipal Code (Chapter VIII, Article 5). 

Massage Establishment License (Employer)

Each applicant is required to submit an application, along with a copy of their current driver’s license, to the City Clerk’s office and pay a fee of $200, which shall not be refundable or prorated. Additionally, the applicant must complete a background check authorization and pay a fee of $50 for the background check.

Massage Therapist License (Employee)

Each applicant is required to submit an application, a copy of their current driver’s license and proof of education and training requirements (equivalent to 500 hours) by certified transcript, to the City Clerk’s office and pay a fee of $25, which shall not be refundable or prorated. Additionally, the applicant must complete a background check authorization and pay a fee of $50 for the background check.
