The Spring Hill Governing Body has approved an ordinance amending the meeting frequency of the Parks Advisory Board. Previously, the municipal code required the board to meet monthly. After a recommendation from the Parks Advisory Board, the governing body has adopted a change that will now require the board to meet at least six times per year. The change is effective immediately.
The Parks Advisory Board will meet on the third Monday of every other month. It still has the option to hold special meetings when necessary.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 18, at 7 p.m. at the Spring Hill Civic Center. Please note that there will be no meetings in October or December.
This adjustment is designed to better align the board’s meetings with the needs of the community while still allowing for flexibility to address time-sensitive matters.
