River walking is an excellent exercise — this low-impact workout is great for joints, muscles, and bones. The water's resistance helps you to build strength while you stay cool.

The lazy river at the Spring Hill Aquatic Center will be open to walkers Monday through Friday. Walkers must be 16 and older to participate in this activity. We offer both regular river walking with jets turned on to offer maximum resistance and also low-impact river walking with no jets, just walking through the water and its natural resistance.

River Walk Season Pass

The Spring Hill Aquatic Center is now offering season passes for river walking. River walking season passes can be purchased  at the Aquatic Center. A $100 season pass permits entry for three sessions per day.

Guests may either purchase a river walking season pass or pay the river walking daily admission rate of $3 per 45 min. session.

The 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. river walking sessions require a season pass or $3 per 45 min. session for admission. At 7 p.m., river walking guests may use River Walk season pass, or pay the $3 river walk admission rate.

Monday through Friday (no weekends) from Monday, June 2 to Friday, August 8.

  • 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. – Low Impact Walking (no jets) 
  • 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. – Regular River Walking (with jets)
  • 7 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. –  Regular River Walking (during pool hours with jets)
