70th Annual Fall Festival: Street Closures and Parking Information
We’re excited to celebrate 70 years of the Fall Festival this weekend! To help ensure everything runs smoothly, we’ve outlined important details about street closures and parking options.
Parade Information:
The festivities kick off on Saturday at 10 a.m. with a parade. The parade route runs along Webster, from South Street to North Street. Webster will close before the parade, and will reopen once the parade concludes. If you need to cross Webster after the parade, please use designated crosswalks and look out for traffic.
Street Closures:
The streets surrounding City Park will be closed to traffic throughout the festival. Many streets near the park offer limited or no parking, with signs indicating where parking is prohibited. Please make sure to follow posted signs to avoid parking tickets or towing.
Shuttle Service:
A shuttle will continuously run from the Civic Center (Jefferson and Lawrence) to vendor fair at City Park on Saturday only. Please note that no parking is allowed on either side of Washington and Nichols Streets along the shuttle route for safety reasons.
Saturday evening, residents are encouraged to utilize the free shuttle service to the SHRC Ballfields beginning at 5 p.m. The Festival offers two shuttle routes and the maps are listed on the Fall Festival website.
Handicap Parking:
Designated handicap parking for City Park will be available on Washington Street, between Hale and Nichols, for those requiring closer access to the park.
SHRC Ballfields:
Events begin at the SHRC Ballfields at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Parking is prohibited on Washington from Allen to North Street and along the south side of North Street.
