Mayor issues Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day proclamation

Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day staff in purple

Mayor Joe Berkey issued a proclamation recognizing November 16 as Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day in the City of Spring Hill.

The proclamation states that the good health and well-being of the residents of Spring Hill are enhanced by increased awareness about the symptoms, risks and research leading to early detection, causes and effective treatments for Pancreatic Cancer.

The City of Spring Hill joins locations across the metro area in the Light KC Purple Project. The City encourages wearing purple and using purple lights on November 16 in recognition of World Pancreatic Cancer Day.
