Spring Hill, it's time to kickoff the 11th year of the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund!
Over the past decade, residents, businesses and organizations in Spring Hill have contributed to the fund that stays right here in our community and supports our neighbors in need.
This year's fund will be split evenly among:
These charities provide assistance to our youth, families experiencing food insecurity, and households in need of utility payment assistance. Together, let's ensure that every resident in Spring Hill has the resources they need to fulfill their basic needs and experience the warmth of community support.
If you're in a position to contribute, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund. For those facing hardships, remember, your community stands with you. Reach out to our supported organizations for assistance — they're here to help.
This year Mayor Berkey has set a goal of $5,000!
Supporting the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund is easy, and there are four convenient ways to contribute:
1️⃣ Include a donation with your utility bill payment. (Look out for the donation slip on The Outlook enclosed with your utility bill!)
2️⃣ Visit the Civic Center customer service window. Drop off your donation in person, where we accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
3️⃣ Donate online. It's quick and secure.
4️⃣ Join us at Spring Hill Hometown Holidays on December 1! While enjoying the festivities, stop by the donation mailbox at the Civic Center to make a contribution. Your generosity during this free event adds to the holiday spirit.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to achieving our goal and making this holiday season a little brighter for everyone in Spring Hill.
Our community is stronger when we support each other. Let's make this holiday season truly special by reaching and even exceeding our goal!
