Cooling center opens at Civic Center

Temperatures are approaching record-highs in the Kansas City metro area. The Spring Hill Civic Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for anyone who needs a break from the heat. The 401 Event Space is an air conditioned space with tables and chairs, a television, Wi-Fi, water fountains and bathrooms.

Spring Hill residents needing access to the cooling center on the weekend may call 913-222-4359 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
