Located behind the Civic Center, our community orchard has apples ripe for the picking! These apples might not look as perfect as store-bought ones because we use holistic remedies, but they are just as delicious! There’s no limit on how many you can pick, but please leave some for others to enjoy.
The pears aren’t quite ready yet, so please only pick from trees with "Pick Me" signs. The grove, planted by Kansas City Community Gardens, aims to provide fresh produce for the Kansas City metro area. Our Spring Hill Public Works Parks Division and volunteers care for these trees year-round.
